Sweet Bonanza CandyLand: Rules, Bonuses and Stats

Sweet Bonanza CandyLand is a live game show from Pragmatic Play, based on the company's Sweet Bonanza slot. A presenter spins a candy-themed money wheel with six betting positions and three Sugar Bomb sweeteners. You bet on where the wheel will stop. If it lands on a number you backed, you are paid at that number's rate. If it lands on a bonus game you backed, you play that bonus. If it lands on a Sugar Bomb, a multiplier is added and the wheel is spun again.

The bets, step by step

  1. Choose your positions. You can bet on any of the wheel's betting positions, including the bonus games.
  2. The wheel spins. The presenter spins it and it stops on one segment.
  3. Numbers pay at their rate. The full payout table is in the game's help screen.
  4. Sugar Bombs add a respin. A Sugar Bomb result adds a random multiplier and spins the wheel again for free.
  5. Bonus results open a game. Only players who backed that bonus take part.

How the wheel is made up

Pragmatic Play's page describes six betting positions and three Sugar Bombs but does not say how many segments each result has; you can find that in the game's help screen. In our own records, the lowest number landed most often.

Sugar Bomb multipliers

The Sugar Bomb is what makes CandyLand different from a plain number wheel. When the wheel stops on one, a random multiplier of up to 10x is added and the wheel gets a free respin. A Sugar Bomb Booster doubles that multiplier. The game's help screen explains how the multiplier is applied to the result. The practical effect is that a single round can include more than one spin of the wheel, and the final result can be worth more than its normal rate.

The bonus games in depth

Sweet Spins

Ten free spins on a live version of the Sweet Bonanza slot. Wins need at least eight matching symbols. Symbol payouts are listed in the game's help screen.

Candy Drop

You pick one of three candy balls, and it falls through a wall of pegs, a little like a plinko board. Where it lands decides your prize. Filling all four Jackpot Boxes gives the top multiplier of 1,000x. The game's help screen explains how the boxes fill.

Bubble Surprise

A bonus with three possible endings: it can trigger Candy Drop, trigger Sweet Spins, or pay a 5x, 10x or 25x win.

The maximum win

Pragmatic Play states a maximum win of €500,000 and a top multiplier of 1,000x in Candy Drop. The highest multiplier we recorded in the 24 hours we looked at was 296.5x. For more on reading multipliers, see Multipliers in Live Casino Games Explained.

RTP and house edge

Return to player (RTP) is the share of stakes a game pays back over a very long run; the rest is the house edge. Pragmatic Play's public page does not list an RTP for this game. On wheels with several betting positions the figure can differ between bets, so check the in-game help for the positions you use. A short session can end far from any long-run figure.

What our data shows

In the 24 hours to 15 October 2026 (04:30 UTC) we recorded 1,478 Sweet Bonanza CandyLand rounds. The shares in our records were:

Taken together, bonus games made up 13.5% of recorded rounds, and the highest multiplier was 296.5x. These are past results. Sweet Spins, the rarest bonus in this sample, came up in about 38 rounds, which is a small number to draw any conclusion from. The Sweet Bonanza Candyland page shows the latest spins and lets you compare periods.

Common misconceptions

"Bonuses come in turns, so Sweet Spins must be next." They do not. Each spin is independent, and a bonus that has not appeared for a while has the same chance as before. Thinking otherwise is the gambler's fallacy.

"A Sugar Bomb means a big win is on the way." A Sugar Bomb adds a multiplier and a respin, but the respin can still land on a result you did not back.

"If I keep raising my bet on the bonus, it will pay off." Raising stakes after losses does not change the house edge; it only raises the cost of a losing run. Read Does the Martingale System Work? before trying a system like that.

Before you play

Decide on a budget you can afford to lose and a time limit, and stop when you reach either. The bright, sweet theme makes it easy to forget that bonus bets lose in most rounds. Our guide Setting Limits: A Practical Guide to Safer Play has simple ways to set limits.
