Crazy Balls: How to Play, Cards and Bonus Games

Crazy Balls is a live game show from Evolution that combines a bingo-style ball draw with the bonus games made famous by Crazy Time. In each round a ball machine draws 20 numbers from 1 to 60. Before the draw you place bets on up to four regular cards and, if you choose, on bonus cards. Regular cards pay when their numbers are drawn, and a winning bonus card sends everyone who backed it into a bonus game. In short: the draw decides which cards win, and the bonus cards decide whether you get a shot at the big multipliers.

The rules, step by step

  1. Choose your cards. You can play up to four regular cards in the same round. You can also put a stake on bonus cards, which are the route into the bonus games.
  2. The draw. The ball machine selects 20 random numbers between 1 and 60. Every round starts from scratch; the machine does not remember what came out last time.
  3. Regular cards settle. A regular card pays according to how its numbers matched the draw. The full payout table is in the game's help screen.
  4. Bonus cards settle. If a bonus card wins, players who backed it play the matching bonus game. Players who did not back it simply watch.

The bonus card system is the main difference from a plain number draw. Without a bonus bet you cannot take part in a bonus round, even if that bonus is triggered while you are at the table.

The four bonus games

Crazy Balls borrows its four bonus games from Crazy Time, so players who know that show will recognise them.

Coin Flip

A coin with a red side and a blue side is flipped. Each side carries its own multiplier, and the side that lands face up decides which one you receive.

Cash Hunt

A shooting-range style screen hides multipliers behind symbols. You aim at one target, and the multiplier behind it is your payout. Since everyone picks their own target, two players at the same table can leave the same Cash Hunt with very different results.

Pachinko

A puck is dropped down a wall of pegs and lands in one of the slots at the bottom. If it lands on DOUBLE, the multipliers along the bottom are doubled and the puck drops again. Evolution caps Pachinko at 10,000x.

Crazy Time

This is the headline bonus. A 64-segment wheel spins with three flappers above it, and you pick the flapper you want to follow. When the wheel stops, the multiplier under your flapper is what you win. Evolution advertises multipliers of up to 20,000x in Crazy Balls.

If you are unsure what a "500x" result means in money terms, our explainer Multipliers in Live Casino Games Explained walks through it with examples.

RTP and house edge

Return to player (RTP) is the share of all stakes a game is designed to pay back over a very long run. The rest is the house edge. Evolution's public Crazy Balls page does not list an RTP. Check the help screen at your casino before you play.

Remember what RTP is not: it is not the amount you will get back tonight. A short session can finish far above or far below the theoretical figure, and the bonus games in particular make results swing.

What our data shows

In the 24 hours to 15 October 2026 we recorded 980 Crazy Balls rounds. Before reading the numbers, one caveat matters: our feed reports bonus rounds more completely than ordinary rounds, so the shares below lean towards bonuses. The real share of ordinary rounds is likely higher than what we recorded.

The highest multiplier we recorded in that window was 1,050x. That is well below the 20,000x maximum Evolution advertises, which is normal: top multipliers exist, but they are rare by design. You can follow recent results on the Crazy Balls page.

Common misconceptions

"Crazy Time has not appeared for ages, so it must be close." This is the gambler's fallacy. Each round is independent, and a long gap does not make the next bonus more likely. The ball machine has no memory.

"Some numbers come out more often, so I should pick them." In any short sample some numbers will appear more than others purely by chance. That unevenness describes the past, not the future.

"A betting system can beat the house edge." Raising your stake after losses does not change the odds of any single round; it only changes how quickly a budget can run out. Our article Does the Martingale System Work? shows why.

Before you play

Crazy Balls is fast and the bonus rounds are exciting to watch, which makes it easy to keep playing. Set a budget before you start, decide how long you will play, and stop when either limit is reached. Our guide Setting Limits: A Practical Guide to Safer Play explains practical ways to set those limits.

Frequently asked questions

How many balls are drawn in Crazy Balls?

Evolution says the ball machine picks 20 random numbers from 1 to 60 in every round. You can play up to four regular cards, and bonus cards lead to the bonus games.

What is the RTP of Crazy Balls?

Evolution's public game page does not give a figure. You can find the exact figure in the game's help screen at your casino. Whatever the figure, RTP is a long-run average and says nothing about a single session.

Why do your Crazy Balls statistics lean towards bonus rounds?

Our live feed reports bonus rounds for this game more completely than ordinary rounds. The shares on our page describe what we recorded, not the game's true frequencies.
